Colbert Mashile at DKW – August (1)

Colbert Mashile was visiting David Krut Print Workshop (DKW) to work with visiting Master Printer Phil Sanders, and the DKW printers: Manager Jillian Ross, and printers Mlungisi Khongisa and Niall Bingham, on a series of etchings and watercolour monotypes.

Mashile drew his image onto the copper plate before working into the metal with a dremel tool and other drypoint tools to create a variety of line strength and tone.
