Alistair Whitton, Representing David Krut in Cape Town
Alastair Whitton works as a representative for David Krut in Cape Town. He graduated in 1994 from the Natal Technikon School of Fine Art in Durban where he was awarded the Emma Smith Overseas Scholarship. He was a Volkskas atelier merit award winner in 1994 and in 1995 following a three-month informal educational visit to artist Marlene Dumas in Amsterdam, he studied at the Glasgow School of Art as part of an international post graduate exchange programme initiated by Roger Palmer and Jeremy Wafer. Following collaborative projects with British artist Neville Gabie he lectured at the Cheltenham College of Art and Design from 1997-1998 and lived in London until 2002.
