Kate McCrickard in Johannesburg to meet Colbert Mashile

In Febraury 2007 David Krut Projects in New York will be holding an exhibition of the works of Colbert Mashile a young South African artist with whom David has been working since he established a print workshop in Johannesburg. Colbert’s paintings were included in the 2006 Dakar Biennale and he has had varies solo exhibitions in South Africa. Kate will be doing some writing about Colbert’s work which will be posted on the site shortly.
