The 2006 Spring edition of Art South Africa, is our fourth birthday issue. The focus of this historic issue is expansive and pan-African. This issue includes a series of linked articles investigating the notion of an African metropolitan experience. The focus of these article will spotlight three cities: Dakar, Kinshasa and Cape Town. This integrated feature, which showcases award-winning projects, is complemented by a look at the work of artists Wangechi Mutu, Senam Okudzeto and Barthélémy Toguo. |
