Bronwen Findlay arrived for a week of printmaking at the David Krut Print Workshop with a basket of ideas and a will to creative and playful experimentation. She came equipped with a wide assortment of props in her basket, from Irises and dead Proteas to old cards from cigarette packs, lace and cloth to ceramic plates, flower photography books to the garland she wore at her sister’s wedding twenty five years ago, carved wooden birds to doilies and embroidered patterns, to help her to widen the already-diverse creative possibilities inherent in the printmaking process.
